West Road Primary is an exciting, happy and vibrant learning community, serving the village of Moorends. Our Ofsted inspection in November 2023 stated that ‘pupils are proud to be part of the school community and know the importance of being tolerant and treating others with respect.’ It was also said that there is a ‘respectful culture in the school.’

We are very proud of the caring and inclusive ethos we have created which is very much aligned to the Trust’s vision of education.
Our young people also achieve outcomes in reading, writing and maths which are above, often well above, national averages and we have worked hard to develop a love of learning and an ambitious curriculum.
